Photography isn’t weird enough. It isn’t hard enough. It needs to be stranger, funnier and more enigmatic. It should make us cry, make us think and challenge what we thought we knew. A great photograph should punch us—wound us—and confuse us. It should leave a mark. It should be something we haven’t seen before.
